Send a note about the guides. This is an editorial inbox, not a shop, not a booking desk, and not a place for legal advice.

Quiet desk with an ivory notebook and a single rose

If you have a question about these guides — a missing topic, a correction, or something unclear on a signing table — use the form on this page. A person reads the inbox. It is not a shopfront and not a booking service.

Please do not send anything you would not want stored as an email. Do not send scans of legal documents, payment details, or private guest book pages that name other people without their knowledge. A short description of the problem is enough.

What we can help with

We can point you back to a guide, note a broken link, or consider a topic that is not yet on the site. We can explain, in general terms, the difference between a guest book and the marriage register. We can not complete paperwork for you.

We cannot tell you which stationer to visit. We cannot name a maker as the right one. We cannot give a price. We cannot reserve a venue, a celebrant, or a date. We cannot restore a damaged book. If you need conservation help, look for a paper conservator through a professional body in your state or territory. If you need the legal record of a marriage, speak with your celebrant and the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages that serves your place.

If your question is "do we need a guest book?", the honest answer is already on the home page: no, not for the marriage to be valid; yes, if you want an object that holds other people's hands in ink.

What to include in a message

Your name, a reply email, and the question. If the question is about a specific page, include the page name. If the question is about wording, say whether you need a sign, a prompt, or a line for a guest. If the question is about storage, say whether you have a bound book, cards, photographs, or a file.

You do not need to tell us the couple's story unless it changes the question. The less private detail you send, the easier the message is to keep.

How the form works

The form below sends through FormSubmit to the editorial address. It is an ordinary web form: name, email, message. There is a hidden field to discourage automated junk. When the message goes through, you will see a short thank-you on this page.

We aim to reply when a person is available. There is no ticket number and no promise of a same-day answer. If you do not hear back, the message may have been caught by a filter; you are welcome to write once more.

For how the message is handled once it arrives, read the privacy page.

Other doors

There is no walk-in desk. There is no telephone sales line. There is no chat that can book a service we do not offer.

If you came to ask for a recommendation of a retailer, the useful answer is the one in the guides: choose paper you have tested, a book that opens, and a pen that writes, from a supplier you already trust. That decision belongs at your table, not in this inbox.

If you came to share a kind word about a page that helped you plan, thank you. Those notes are welcome and will not be turned into a public testimonial.

The guest book on your table is the conversation that matters. This form is only for the leftover questions.
